“I truly value the connections I’ve made with the Aries Team. Working with dedicated and passionate individuals not only enhances our working relationships but also motivates me to strive for excellence.” – Lani Baze
How have you advanced through Aries during that time?
My key focus has been on driving business development. I’ve helped set strategic marketing targets and collaborated to launch the 360 Connect lead initiative.
What have you learned?
I’ve been learning Aries internal processes and expansion opportunities. Getting
acquainted with the team dynamic and feeling inspired by the extensive knowledge all
offer in the industry.
Where did you work prior to Aries; was it in the same industry or something totally different?
My journey in the modular industry began in 2003 with Modern Building Systems, a factory-direct manufacturer for both custom sales and leasing. When Modern was acquired by William Scotsman in 2023, I remained onboard for 8 months in a Special Sales role for the newly reopened Major Projects Division.

When you’re not at work, what would we find you doing?
Loving life with family, friends and the best dog ever. We’d be camping, hiking, fishing, home brewing, frolicking on the beach, playing games or just laughing with each other. When I have some “me time”, I love to read and learn new things. My newest passion is attempting to learn the ukulele for campfire gatherings, not concert halls.
Tell us about your hometown?
My hometown is Kaunakakai, Molokai, Hawaii. I’ve spent my whole life puddle jumping between Hawaii and Oregon. The best two home states.
Also tell us about your family and children, if any?
I’ve been married to Michael, my amazing partner, for a very, fun-filled 19 years. My kids are the light of my life – Brandon, Jordan, Lahaila and one granddaughter, Nyla. I’d be remiss if I didn’t include my best fur friend, Bo. Dogs are family too.

What would your perfect day consist of?
Watching the sunrise with a frothy coffee and healthy breakfast before hitting the road to chase one of the 238 waterfall trails in Oregon. Soak in nature’s beauty, feel the spray from the cascading water and bask in the satisfaction of marking another waterfall sightseeing off our list. Enjoy dinner with family by the firepit and curl up with an epic book for dessert.
What sets Aries apart from other companies that deliver the same exact things?
Exceptional team camaraderie, unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, and a comprehensive knowledge base that underpins everything we do.
What do you hope to bring to Aries in terms of leadership and company culture?
I prioritize the needs of my team and recognize that diverse perspectives lead to innovative solutions. By fostering a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute their best work.
If you weren’t working for Aries, what job would you probably have?
Working with wildlife conservation and rehabilitation.
What do you think the future holds for Aries?
Continued growth and expansion by establishing ourselves as a national brand while emphasizing a local approach. We are uniquely positioned to gain customer base due to expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of choice created by multiple acquisitions in the market. Our quality of service and commitment to clients will set us apart.
How has the local industry in the Pacific Northwest influenced the type of modular solutions Aries provides?
Aries is excellent at adjusting to the changes within the market and meets the unique needs of each client. The education sector has pivoted from double classrooms to more requests for larger complexes to provide better aesthetics and security for school campuses. We’ve seen a shift to permanent modular solutions that match the existing surroundings, provide quality spaces and work within budget constraints that traditional stick building cannot do.
