What Customers Are Saying About Aries Modular Buildings

2023-03-14T18:03:48+00:00

A round garnet “stamp” consisting of two concentric circles with stars in between the circles and the word “approved” in the center.

As the modular building industry have become more sophisticated, attentive listening has become an invaluable asset for companies like Aries. Offering turnkey solutions means sitting down with every customer to find out about their circumstances and unique prefabrication needs.

For example, walking the customer through details concerning where the office needs to be installed can be the difference in knowing if we need to bring a trans lift to get the building into a hard-to-reach location. Missing that specific detail can lead to delays and unhappy customers.

At a construction site, a man in a business luminescent suit, a reflective worksite vest, and wearing a yellow hardhat talks to a man in a flannel shirt, a utility belt, a reflective worksite vest, and a blue hardhat. The man in the suit holds a clipboard, behind them are a bridge and a crane.
However, our listening “antennas” pick up more than just customer needs. We also take pride in the feedback we get after all is said and done.

Take Civil & Environmental Consultants for example

“They found working with us ‘refreshing’,” comments Richard “Dee” Stephens, an Aries’ sales representative, “they appreciate that they will get a voice on the other end of the line. If they leave a message, they know I will quickly get back to them.”

Overall, Aries’ clients often say they appreciate the customer service. Aries is not just there to lease them one and done but determined to win the role of providing them with all their modular buildings in the future. This, customers say, translates to a feeling that Aries works hard to be their last and only mobile office provider.

Some of the best compliments are said to third parties when we are not there. Many companies find Aries after becoming tired of working with other modular building providers and following the grapevine to Aries. That was the case when Southern Border Constructors referred us to Civil and Environmental Consultants and, in turn, allowed us to successfully serve them.

Perhaps the greatest compliment our customers give us is when they become return customers and we sustain long-term customer relationships. Money talks, and when a company chooses to trust us with their investment repeatedly, it strengthens our belief that attentive listening leads to long-term business relationships. From 3-S Services, to Ash Creek Homes, to NRP West, when our customers call us back for yet another modular building project, they speak loud and clear as to their trust that we will deliver quality portable buildings without the hassle involved with other providers.

From response time, to quality buildings, to customizable turnkey solutions, customers are talking about Aries. Our mobile offices, storage containers, modular educational facilities, workforce housing, construction trailers, GLO’s, relocatable buildings are all the talk of the town!

Pictured below are just a few of the latest buildings done for return customers and referrals:

VisionARIES – Q&A with Denis Mangifesta (Spotlight)

family picture

Your formal title at Aries – Territory Sales Manager

Your job duties & responsibilities – I represent Aries in Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York.

How long have you been at Aries? I’ve been at Aries for 6 months.

Where did you work prior to Aries; was it in the same industry or something totally different?

I started with GE Capital in 1996. I’ve been in the modular industry my whole career.

If you weren’t working for Aries, what job would you probably have?

I love the industry. I don’t know any others where you have such a diverse customer base and unique problems to solve. It is a blast to learn about a customer’s process, understand their problem and solve it. I have literally been within a nuclear plant, a maximum-security prison and presented to a hospital board all in the same day.

When I leave the industry, I’d like to work with one of the organizations I have met while solving their space needs. The Boys and Girls Clubs of America, for example, is such an important organization. I will continue to help long after their temporary school is removed. After helping the Wings of Freedom Aviation Museum, they asked me to become a board member which was intrinsically rewarding but time consuming. I look forward to having more time to bring attention to important organizations and raise money for them.

When you’re not at work, what would we find you doing?

Not long ago, I’d say coaching my children’s sports, most recently ending 5 years of coaching my son’s baseball teams. Since them, I‘m enjoying the discretionary time to work on my golf game and platform tennis, a winter sport played on a 1/3 sized tennis court where you can play the ball off of surrounding fencing. You can often catch me reading and hiking. Travel is also important to me and I look forward to the world opening. I have the quote on my desk, “The world is a book and those who do not travel only read one page.”

Hometown?

My dad immigrated to a blue-collar town in southern New Jersey where he met my mom. While times could be tough, I couldn’t ask for a better upbringing for my brother and me. My dad came to the US with nothing and with my mom taught us the value of character-building hard work through their actions. To their delight, I was the first in our family to get a college degree.

My Hometown now is in Pennsylvania. Our family lives close, some in the same neighborhood. I like a full house.

Family, children?

Julie and I have been married for 27 years. We have two daughters (a junior in college and a senior in high school) and my son is a sophomore in high school.

A bright spot during the pandemic has been having everyone together under one roof. I kept reminding myself to appreciate being all together as it will be a luxury in the future. For example, this was the first summer that my oldest daughter didn’t travel in the last 5 years. She’s a Linguistics major. Last summer she spent it in Morocco which was restless for me.

family picture

What would “your perfect day” consist of?

Hmmm…a morning hike in the mountains, a round of golf, dinner at sunset on the beach, all with family and friends. That would be a pretty nice day.

What’s your favorite part about working for Aries so far?

To work with people within the organization who I’ve long admired. After being out of direct sales role for 4 years, it has been great working directly with customers again, introducing them to Aries and solving their problems. It’s nice to wake up on Monday morning excited for the week.

What sets Aries apart from other companies that deliver the exact same things?

Aries doesn’t have thousands of customers. Each customer is special. We can’t help everyone. The company empowers me to take the time that each customer needs and deserves. There’s no pressure to churn customers/equipment. The objective is to come up with the best, most cost-effective solution, hopefully we have it, if not, we’ll help the customer find it.

What do you hope to bring to Aries in terms of leadership and company culture?

As Aries continues to grow, I hope to help recruit young people to the industry and share my passion for it. I spent a year as a trainer and it was interesting to quantify what us veterans have learned over the years. You’re constantly learning new things- it’s not one year of information over and over again.

Is there anything we didn’t bring up that you’d like to talk about?

Did you know that with the amount of concrete used to build the Hoover Dam, you could build a 2-lane highway from New York to San Francisco?

2021 Top Modular Building Company ARIES: A Company Overview

2021-01-06T20:59:23+00:00
The home pages of ariesbuildings.com and ariesresidencesuites.com, with “Aries maroon” colored ampersand connecting the two images.

Welcome to 2021! Let us reintroduce ourselves. We are Aries, a leading North American modular building company – we’d like to remind you why.

Although Aries has multiple business units within its impressive portfolio, it suffices to say that Aries’ business can be divided into two sectors: workforce housing and manufacturing modular buildings. As all good stories are told, we will start at the beginning.

The Story of RAM: How Reliant Asset Management’s Past Spells Success for Your Future

Founded in 2010 by brothers and business partners, Michael and Barry Roman, Reliant Asset Management is the culmination of forty years of hard work, perseverance, and experience in the modular construction industry. Building from the success of their previous modular construction financing company, Resun Leasing, Inc., the Roman brothers initially created RAM to provide modular buildings and workforce housing for an array of professional needs.

Since then, they have expanded the privately-owned company’s reach by acquiring several subsidiaries – including Class Leasing Inc. which serves the education sector in California.

“The future of the RAM family of companies is extremely bright,” explains co-founder and Vice President Michael Roman, “the education and commercial sectors are strong. RAM is rapidly moving from a third-party finance company to a powerhouse lease originator and remarketer. We are redeploying assets returned from initial operating leases and realizing very solid values.” Indeed, RAM’s push into newer sectors, including education and leasing, has allowed the company to adapt and thrive, even during tumultuous economic conditions.

Aries Residence Suites: Modular Buildings for Workforce Housing & Extended Stay

Aries Residence Suites is a full-service North American provider of oilfield housing with a focus on quality, value, delivery, and service. We understand the large-scale housing needs of oilfield companies and other remote labor industries, and we take great pride in meeting those needs with our experienced team comprised of engineering, manufacturing, facility management, and sales professionals. We are here to deliver your workers a home away from home.

To attract and retain consistent, valuable employees, it is vital to offer top quality housing. Many workers leave their hometowns and families behind to seek financial opportunity making it extremely important to create a hospitable environment for them to go to off the job. Having suitable accommodations can increase profitability, improve morale, improve safety, boost productivity, and reduce turnover rates.

A rendered image of a road spanning forward toward the horizon, Aries’ flags line the roadside on a bright, sunny day with the words “Aries Residence Suites” across the top, the official icons/tagline saying, “Eat, Sleep, Refresh,” and five ram-head bullet points at the bottom listing “world class amenities, serving North America, unmatched logistics, 24/7 on-site service, and financing available.”

Aries Accommodations

Whether you are in Texas, Oklahoma, or North Dakota, we have consistent accommodation offerings that will draw in the top-quality workers. Beyond these locations, Aries specializes in remote warm or cold climate camps, remote lodging, drill camps, and all-inclusive workforce housing.

Regardless of size or location, Aries can help you design, install, and operate the best possible accommodations for your project. Mines and drill camps are often operated in remote areas, far away from hotels or other boarding options. This means companies must provide food services and accommodations for the workers, often for extended periods of time. We also understand that your project may require on-site facilities for engineers staying briefly, short-term contractors, or long-term workers. Our design team will work with you to create accommodations of the right size and configuration while customizing our offering to fit your budget.

Some of our accommodations include:

• Theatre rooms

• Satellite TVs in bedrooms

• Housekeeping 3 times a week

• Linen change once a week

• Laundry facilities

• Dining halls

• Locker and mudrooms

• On-site storage

• 24/7 security

• Fully furnished rooms

• Gyms

• Internet service

• And more!

An image of Tiffany Wilson, Aries Residence Suites’ U.S. Director of Sales presented next to a quote, “We sell space… it’s been busy. Whether it’s due to the oil and gas industry, solar companies, pipeline… it’s just a busy place to be right now.”

In last year’s interview with Crude Life, Aries Residence Suites’ U.S. Director of Sales Tiffany Wilson explained, “Here in west Texas we offer a 24-hour dining hall with chefs onsite, housekeeping, free laundry services, you name it. When you come to an Aries’ site, we want you to feel at home.” Wilson went on to add, “People have a need for temporary offices, wellsite quarters… we can do anything from mobile offices, classrooms, storage containers to workforce housing. Our leaders have been in this since 1982. This is what we do. Like I said, we sell space!” (Hear the full interview here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBkZ4BH04w0)

Bottom line: customer service is not a “department.” It is everyone’s job. Aries offers quality employee housing, modular man camps, oilfield workforce housing, and executive housing throughout the country. Our focus is to define what our customers need and make that what Aries does best.

Camp Operations is just a small portion of what we do as a whole at Aries Buildings – the boots on the ground are everywhere working hard to serve you!!!”

Today, contemporary modular buildings are much more than simply provisional construction trailers and classroom portables. From deluxe workforce housing to educational networks to hospital and government facilities, modular construction is leading the way in providing accessible, affordable, and cutting-edge development for the modern world. Indoor manufacturing of modules ensures consistency of quality while eliminating the associated waste of damaged products that have been subjected to outdoor construction.

Not only is modular technology more practical and environmentally-friendly than classical construction, but it is also faster and more efficient – saving you time and money.

“The goal has, and always will be, to serve our customers to the best of our ability. Aries is comprised of skilled individuals that take pride in what they do, and we genuinely care about our customers and each other. It’s a wonderful thing when others notice our hard work,” Reliant President Barry Roman summarizes.

Aries has made a habit of creating award-winning designs. In addition to being awarded top ranking last year in the relocatable modular education under 10,000 sq. ft. category for the Houston ISD project, Aries also received an honorable mention for their Aries Goldsmith Lodge relocatable workforce housing facility (Goldsmith, TX), Claremont Hotel & Spa relocatable administrative buildings & locker room buildings (Berkeley, CA), and the BelovEd Community Charter School multi-story relocatable educational facility (Jersey City, NJ).

“Aries starts with providing space. That’s what we do. We provide space across North America and beyond, from mobile offices, storage containers, to entire workforce housing camps. But providing space is just the beginning. Aries is a full turnkey general contractor with capabilities of financing, customizing, delivering, managing, and outfitting with whatever people, places, or things the customers’ requests. We are proud to be a total modular solution provider and have our sights set on a very bright future,” adds Roman.
